Area Orientation

When you relocate to a new city/country, feeling comfortable in your new surroundings can take some time.  We facilitate that process with our area orientation services; our Area Orientation/Pre-Decision Tours are full-day or multiple day programs providing a number of services that will help you make informed and better decisions about the area you would like to live, the schools you would like your children to attend, thereby you and your family’s adjustment period will be lessened and more pleasant.

Homefinding Assistance

We have top Licensed Real Estate Agents who have extensive experience in the South Florida/Miami housing market providing Real Estate services to the Expat community.  We will supply you with a number of listings of properties for you to review and subsequently accompany you to visit your selections in the areas/neighborhoods you would like to live to reach a final decision in renting a house, apartment, townhouse, or condo.  We will handle the entire home-finding process.

Settling-in Services

Once you arrive to Miami our Destination Services Representative will meet with you to provide you detailed information, guidance, and in person support in the processes geared toward settling you and your family in the community smoothly & efficiently and as quickly as possible.

We will assist you and accompany you to opening your bank account, applying for your Social Security Number, obtaining your Florida Driver’s License, as well as assisting you in the entire home rental process from identifying homes to visiting your selected choices to reviewing and negotiating the Lease to conducting the final move-in inspection when you are ready to move in.

These are critical phases of the relocation/settling in Program designed to make moving and getting acclimated a smooth and hassle-free transition.  Ongoing support is provided throughout the Program, addressing and assisting with critical issues as they arise.

School Information 

Moving to a new city or country can be a difficult time for children and a period of adjustment needs to be provided to them.  It is of the utmost importance for children to have smooth transition during a move, and this includes finding a good school where they can learn and thrive.  We will assist you to find schools in your new community where your children’s academic, artistic and athletics interests will be met and developed.  Our Destination Services Representative will:

• Research, gather and send you information on public and private schools in the area.
• Provide website links and other resources where you can browse through the information to help you reach a decision on the school you would like your children to attend.
• Assist you in coordinating appointment to visit the selected schools.
• Our Destination Services Representative will accompany you to the school visits.
• Our Destination Services Representative, if needed, will coordinate testing and admission applications for the school of your choice.
